Our dedicated team consists of experienced therapists, case managers, educators, and more. We aim for the four C's, compassion, commitment, collaboration, and communication. We equip our clients with the tools, insights, and confidence they need to navigate life's challenges and embrace a brighter, more hopeful future.

Offering home-based therapy services for children and families in a supportive, non-judgmental, strength-based environment. Evidence-based practices are utilized and include helping children and families with:

Supervised Parenting Time/Visitation
Offering supervised parenting/visitation to children and families in a safe, nurturing, and controlled environment. Supervised parenting time can take place in the home, office, or community. Visitation facilitators assist children and families with:
Strengthening the parent/child bond and connection
Coaching parents with helpful strategies and tools
Provide transportation to visits for children and/or parents
Parent Education
Offering parenting education to families utilizing evidence-based practices that are individualized and personalized to each family's needs. Our program utilizes the Nurturing Parenting Parent Assessment to gauge where each parent is on their parenting journey. Guiding Light does not judge or condemn any parent but acts as a guide on the parenting journey to increase the skills that each parent already possesses. Our team supports parents with:
Strengthening the parent-child connection
Developmentally appropriate behaviors and discipline
Resources to enhance child and family well-being
How to identify trauma behaviors and ways to support their children when they see these behaviors exhibited
Communication techniques for children of all ages
Homemaker
Parent-Aid
Offering Homemaker Parent-Aid services to families who need assistance and support with the following:
Home Organization/Cleaning
Time Management
Budgeting
Childcare
Hygiene
Employment
Tutoring
Offering Tutoring to children who need additional support or who might experience learning disabilities or challenges. Our tutors also assist parents and placement with tools and strategies to help make the school journey successful. Our tutors assist with:
Homework (reading, spelling, math, science, etc.)

Ensuring proper school supplies are available
